Sending your outdrive in for repair

Instructions for shipping your gear case for repair
Outdrive core returns

  • Used Fedex, UPS or Purolator Canada to send in your gear cases for repair or core return.
  • Exploded view outdrive drawings
    Search by part number or description here

FedEx way-bills provide the customer with an easy way to ship their gear cases to our location at a 2 day priority service (2 working days).

If you are sending in your OMC or Mercruiser gear case for repair,
please remove oil from unit and follow these instructions:

Contact us by phone, fax or email to provide us with your name, address (no P.O. boxes please) and contact phone number.

Contact 1-800-GO-FEDEX when you are ready to have your gear case picked up.

*If shipping an OMC 800/400 lower unit, please remove the exhaust housing from the lower unit before shipping.

If you prefer to ship your gear case to our warehouse using a shipping company of your choice, please make sure to enter the following into the shipping way-bill:


  1. Enter 'Boat parts for repair only - returning to USA' in the commodity (item) description field
  2. Enter '$100' in the value for customs field (item value)

    Customer is responsible for brokerage or customs charges and taxes if the above is not filled out in the shipping way-bill.
