Outdrive lower gear housing vertical shaft without preload pin, compatible with all MR / Alpha 1 (1st generation) models from 1984 - 1990 (S/N 6225577 and up). If you do not have the serial number of your gear case, an easy way to identify between the Alpha 1 first generation and second generation models is by looking at the water pump housing.
